Sr. Silicon R&D Engineers in any of the following fields:
1. Monomer (MCS; Methyl Chloro Silane) in:
a. Si Metal
– For Smelting: Sourcing, Key factors of Si quality and
– For Griding: Size distribution, Mill type, Powdering procedure, Key factors on power
quality.
b. MCS Synthesis
– FBR (Fluidizing Bed Reactor): Fluidization, Thermodynamics, Reactor design, Operating
condition (especially fine Si)
– Catalysts: Type, Formulation (especially for low grade Si), Bed composition control
– Cyclones: Design, Equipment erosion, Fine loss control, Dust properties & treatement
– Waste treatment: Cu recovery from cyclone dust, Slurry discard
c. MCS Distillation
– Purity: Impurities & spec., Effects on down stream
– Waste treatment: High boiling MCS (discilane), Low boilers (TCS, TMS, M2H, etc.),
Aseotrope

Requirements

1. Min. 10yrs of experience in Inorganic Material R&D
2. Univ. degree (Bachelor) or higher in relevant major/field.
3. Prefers current or retired employees from following target companies:
– US or European company: Dow Corning, MPM (Momentive Performance Materials), Wacker
– Japanese company: Shin-etsu
