Plastic Bottle Blow Molding Process Technician – Syracuse, NY

A growing manufacturer of plastic bottles and containers is searching for a Third Shift Process Technician to set up and operate the Fisher/Bekum shuttle bottle blow molding equipment. The Third Shift Process Technician will be responsible for performing tooling set-ups, establishing molding processes and parameters, selecting materials, color additions, performing quality measurements, etc.

Fisher and Bekum shuttle extrusion blow molding machines are used to manufacture the plastic bottles and containers. The position is open because several more machines are being added to the operation.

In addition to an hourly rate between $18 and $23 and modern working conditions, the company offers competitive health benefits, a 401k, and relocation assistance.

Requirements
Must have several years of experience, operating and setting up extrusion blow molding equipment.

The Plastic Compounding Extruder Operator will lead the operation of twin screw extruders used in a polyester resin masterbatching operation for a rapidly growing polyester masterbatching company.

In addition to an annual salary in the $40,000 to $50,000 range, the company offers relocation assistance and competitive benefits.

Must Have: Several years of twin-screw extruder operation experience extruding thermoplastics and some experience leading other technicians.

Polyester Resin Sales and Marketing Manager – Spartanburg, SC

A resin masterbatching company that has recently started operations in United States is searching for a Sales and Marketing Manager and an Accounts Manager to sell Polyester, PET, PS, compounded and masterbatched resins. Knowledge and experience compounding or masterbatching of Polyester, Polystyrene resins is required to, work effectively with the customers.

The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for providing leadership and coordination of company sales and marketing functions including Business Partner Management for the Americas, in addition to, developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.

Other responsibilities include:

Acting as the primary contract negotiator with customers and securing contracts and/or purchase orders at a managerial level.

Monitoring and analyzing sales and marketing activity against annual objectives and budgets.

Acting as primary contact for assigned accounts, with customers purchasing management for coordination of sales, pricing and product delivery, for current and future business.

Presenting and selling company products and services to current an potential customers.
Preparing and presenting products, strategies and technologies as required in conjunction with their respective product management.

Coordinating company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
Assuming the “voice of the customer” role for the assigned accounts.

Responsibility for obtaining timely information on the status, performance and behavior of competitor companies at the assigned customer.

Inputting market/business plans.

In additional to an annual salary in the $80,000 to $95,000 range the company offers sales commissions based on pounds of products sold, bonus potential based on salary in the 5% to 10% range, and a very good medical and dental plan.

Requirements

Experience selling compounded and masterbatched Polyester resins such as; PET, PS, to molders.

Proven experience leading and directing a sales staff.

Experience setting and achieving annual objectives and budgets.
